At the age 80, Mama Dee is still baking her famous pound cake and shows no signs of slowing down. My job is to shine and share the love outside the kitchen while mama Dee continues to shine and share the love inside the kitchen. Together, we will always shine.

As a kid my mom would wake me up on Saturday mornings without yelling one word. How? she would bake my favorite pound cake and after about twenty minutes in the oven my mom would purposely open the oven to allow the sweet buttery smells to seep throughout the house and eventually under my door. All I could remember back then was sleep walking into the kitchen. This was in 1974. As we fast forward to 2024, 50 years later, my birthday approached quickly. My mother baked my favorite pound cake, froze it and mailed it to my doorstep. Something different happened this time, just minutes before the mailman arrived, those same smells of butter and sweetness came through my front door. This blew my mind. "Eurika." That's when I knew it was time to share my mother's pound cake with the world. Now everyone agrees and we're so please to announce the opening of our new scratch kitchen in Lewisville, Texas
